Role OverviewThe Assistant Director will provide direct support to the Executive Director of the Developmental Disabilities Unit (DDU), assist in developing policies and procedures, oversee programs and projects, and provide technical assistance and training to ACS staff and external stakeholders. The role involves working on behalf of intellectually disabled and developmentally disabled children, youth, and parents to identify, refer, and link them to necessary supports. The Assistant Director will also serve as a liaison to external agencies, determine areas of collaboration, and represent ACS in community-based meetings and conferences.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Director will oversee trainings, manage budgets and contracts, procure resources, and provide direct supervision and coverage of the DDU. They will also facilitate trainings, coordinate meetings, and manage administrative projects and initiatives.
