Job Description
The Assistant Director of Engineering plays a key leadership role in maintaining the resort's facilities, grounds, and water features, assisting in directing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring all resort areas are safe, reliable, and maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Assist the Director of Engineering in leading and developing the Engineering, Grounds, and Water Features teams
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems
  • Ensure the resort's landscaping, gardens, pathways, and outdoor areas are well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing
  • Manage the operation, cleanliness, and upkeep of all water features
  • Conduct routine property inspections and ensure timely resolution through effective work-order management
  • Support capital improvement projects and coordinate with contractors
  • Assist in managing departmental budgets, purchasing, inventory, and cost-control initiatives
  • Promote safety and regulatory compliance
  • Serve as acting Director of Engineering when the Director is absent
