Role OverviewAs the Assistant Director of Finance, you'll direct financial activities of a Kimpton property by performing various duties personally or through leading an accounting staff. You'll be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing cash and credit card receipts, and supervising the accounting department. You'll work in a dynamic and exceptional work environment that celebrates individuality and creativity.
What You Will Do
Some of your responsibilities will include preparing daily flash reports, processing travel agent commissions, billing customers, and managing inventory records. You'll also be responsible for balancing accounts, paying taxes, and preparing financial reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Studies, 2 years of accounting or finance management experience, and excellent communication skills. You should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel. Experience with PeopleSoft or similar accounting packages is preferred.
