Role Overview

The Assistant Director of Finance (ADOF) is responsible for overseeing the hotel's general ledger financials and managing the Finance department in line with Hyatt Corporate standards. This position will assist with supervising Finance staff, system administration, and hotel on-site accounting functions.

What You Will Do

Assist with supervising Finance staff, system administration, and hotel on-site accounting functions. Manage and oversee hotel on-site accounting functions, including financial planning and budgeting, accounting for multiple business units, and G/L journals.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Experience supervising accounting staff members
  • Prior experience with POS (Infrasys or Symphony), Oracle, Kronos/UKG Dimensions, Birchstreet, Opera, and other Hyatt systems
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and motivational leader
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills
