Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our long-term care neighborhoods and help lead our clinical team with vision, heart, and excellence. This role is an essential part of our Clinical Leadership team, contributing to strategic goals while also being hands-on in the daily rhythm of resident life and care.

What You Will Do

Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and act on their behalf when needed, serve as a Mentor and Coach, lead by example to build and maintain a resilient, dedicated care team, ensure the highest quality of care through direct assessments, team development, and evidence-based practices.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse in good standing in the state of operation, long-term care experience preferred.
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years experience as an RN
  • 1 – 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • 1 year of experience in educating and/or training adult learners.
  • Expertise in PPS, MDS, OBRA and OSHA requirements preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws and regulations for skilled nursing facility operation in the State of operation.
  • Administrative experience preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competence in relevant technology.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
