Assistant Director of Nursing

The Assistant Director of Nursing plays a critical role in providing superior customer service and nursing services to all Residents in the facility, assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, development, and operation of the Nursing Department.

What You Will Do

Assists with planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff, ensures Nursing Department compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and develops, implements, and updates department policy and procedures.

Requirements

• Assists the D.O.N with planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff
• Ensures the Nursing Department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Develops, implements, and updates department policy and procedures
• Assists with staffing to ensure Resident needs and regulatory requirements are met at all times
• Participates in Federal, State, and Local agency annual surveys
• Reviews any deficiencies noted by government agencies during inspections and assists with the implementation of changes needed to correct any deficiencies found
