Role OverviewThe Assistant Director of Nursing plays a critical role in providing superior customer service and nursing services to all Residents in the facility, assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, development, and operation of the Nursing Department.
What You Will Do
Assists the D.O.N with planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff, ensures the Nursing Department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and develops, implements, and updates department policy and procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of RN experience, preferred education and experience include 5 years of RN experience and previous experience managing a Nursing department.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Science, Nursing or related field
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current State License as RN or LPN
- C.P.R. Certified
- 2 years R.N. experience
- Preferred Education and Experience: 5 years R.N. experience, Previous experience managing a Nursing department
- Knowledge of DOH regulations
