Job Description
The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking an Assistant Director of People & Culture to support their company culture focused on Respect, Belonging, Integrity, Empowerment, and Excellence. This role involves developing and implementing HR solutions to enhance employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and learning programs. The Assistant Director will also be a role model within the hotel and assist with employee development and performance management.

Requirements

  • Partner with the Director of People & Culture to assess organizational needs and implement HR strategies.
  • Oversee the administration of the People & Culture Office.
  • Counsel colleagues on job related issues and perform career development.
  • Advise on HR policies and interpret regulations.
  • Maintain a positive employee relations environment.
  • Manage employee benefit programs.
