Job Description
Duke University is seeking an Assistant Director, Programs to build relationships with students and faculty, particularly those from Native, Indigenous, & Undocumented communities. The role involves developing and implementing programs in areas like community engagement, multicultural education, and leadership development. This position requires a strong understanding of the historical and cultural context of diverse student populations.

Requirements

  • Partner with students to design and implement the annual Powwow
  • Develop and implement annual programming and other traditional programs
  • Design and implement CMA programs
  • Provide consultation to student organizations and coordinate programs related to social justice and multicultural education
  • Supervise graduate/professional student and undergraduate staff
  • Participate in campus, divisional, state, regional, and national professional training opportunities
  • Conduct presentations at regional and national professional organizations
  • Anticipated Pay Range: USD $47,940.00 to USD $75,990.00
