Job Description
To assist the Technical Director in overseeing technical production for live events across various UAB Arts departments, manage all stages of production, and take charge of decision-making in the absence of the Technical Director.

Requirements

  • Helps the Technical Director to manage and train technical team and large number of part-time technical over-hires.
  • Assists with technical renovations, ongoing maintenance, and equipment for three facilities.
  • Helps to monitor the amortization schedule and plan of technical equipment.
  • Ensures buildings are up-to-code and staff are appropriately certified.
  • Maintains good standing and positive relationships with technical vendors.
