Job Description
The Assistant Program Director will oversee daily program and facility operations, supervising staff and ensuring compliance with DYCD and DOH regulations. The role focuses on maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and the JCC's mission. They need to model, enforce, teach and develop appropriate social, physical, and emotional behaviors.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience or 3+ years of experience working with children.
  • Cultural competence and understanding of diverse needs.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Independent work ability.
