Job Description
The Bronx District Attorney is seeking an experienced attorney to handle post-conviction litigation, including direct appeals, motion responses, and federal writs of habeas corpus.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree
  • 3+ years of appellate attorney experience
  • U.S. citizenship
  • New York State residency
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under deadlines
  • Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and strong ethics
  • Ability to analytically solve issues or problems from inception through conclusion
