Role OverviewThe Assistant Electrical Testing Technician will perform various tests of electrical power equipment and assist with service tasks under the direction of the Project Manager, Testing Operations Superintendent, and/or Foreperson.
What You Will Do
Essential functions include adhering to testing and service protocols, operating test equipment, interpreting test results, and troubleshooting electrical power equipment problems.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in the construction and/or related technical field, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to complete basic training in fall protection, confined space, and LOTO classes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in the construction and/or related technical field
- Ability to complete basic training in fall protection, confined space, and LOTO classes
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail and safety oriented
- Ability to travel to jobsites, including overnight stays and weekends, as required
