Role OverviewThe Assistant Event Services Manager will support and oversee the Events Department, collaborating closely with the Event Services Manager and other hotel departments. They will supervise, mentor, coach, and motivate the banquet team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and foster a highly engaged workforce. The role will assist the hotel in achieving top Meeting Planner survey scores by ensuring clear communication with guests and internal departments, reviewing Event Orders (EOs), and overseeing the timely and accurate setup of all meetings and events.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Event Services Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the successful execution of all events in partnership with Culinary, Stewarding, Catering, Convention Services, Convention Services Floor, and Beverage teams. They will also develop and implement innovative décor concepts and enhancements for banquet and event spaces, and manage both short-term and long-term banquet operations across front-of-house and back-of-house functions.

Requirements
- Prior hotel experience with a comprehensive understanding of banquet operations and service standards
- Previous experience as an Event Services Manager, Assistant Event Services Manager, Banquet Captain, or Event Services Supervisor
- Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate teams, foster employee development, and deliver exceptional customer service
