Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Hyatt Regency San Francisco is seeking an experienced housekeeping leader to oversee daily operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry coordination, colleague leadership, quality assurance, productivity, cleanliness standards, and guest satisfaction.

What You Will Do

Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily Housekeeping operations, conduct room and public area inspections, monitor room status, and partner with Front Office to support room readiness.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience in a full-service hotel, convention hotel, luxury hotel, or high-volume urban hotel environment strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, room inspections, public area cleanliness, laundry coordination, inventory control, and hotel room readiness.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a large team.
• Strong guest service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, quality, and consistency.
• Ability to partner effectively with Front Office, Engineering, Security, and other hotel departments.
• Basic understanding of labor management, productivity standards, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and expense control preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, safety procedures, sanitation standards, and OSHA-related practices preferred.
• Proficiency with hotel systems, housekeeping systems, Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and operational reporting preferred.
