Assistant Facilities Director

The Assistant Director of Facilities Services will support the daily operations of the Facilities and Food Services departments, overseeing staff, scheduling, training, contractors, quality of work, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role requires a safe, well-maintained environment for the children served and employees. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director of Facilities Services to ensure the campus remains safe, sanitary, comfortable, and operational.

What You Will Do

The Assistant Director will support the Facilities Director in day-to-day operations, supervise and train department employees, coordinate staffing and scheduling, monitor work quality, and maintain a safe environment. The role involves identifying facility and safety concerns, ensuring corrective action, and supporting departmental compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Diploma
• Proficient computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing facilities operations and supervising staff
• 1–2 years of facility safety experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and Joint Commission codes and standards related to facilities preferred
