Role OverviewThe Assistant Facility Security Officer assists in providing overall management of the Security Department operations, supporting program management, field operations, and corporate staff. The incumbent is responsible for security clearances, industrial security education and training, and managing a classified controlled area.
What You Will Do
Initiates and administers a classified security program, conducts industrial security program audits, develops audit protocols, and safeguards classified material. Provides technical leadership to less experienced personnel and keeps informed on new industrial regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Two years of experience in processing security clearances
- Certification of DCSA FSO
- In depth knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
- Experience with DCSA
- Working knowledge of present day security issues, DOD security regulations, and Executive Orders
- Direct experience with managing security specialist staff and working in an accredited SCIF
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with JPAS, EQIP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
- Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
