What You Will Do
Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar, lounge or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
- Knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to twist, lean, bend, crouch
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
