Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel at Park Hyatt Aviara, a AAA Five-Diamond luxury resort in Carlsbad, California. This role involves ensuring compliance with laws and operating procedures while coordinating special events.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include scheduling, forecasting, training, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as all operating procedures. The manager may also coordinate special events at the hotel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
