Assistant Front Office Manager (Temporary Taskforce Assignment)

Thompson Dallas is seeking an experienced front office leader to join our team through a temporary taskforce assignment supporting Front Office operations during a colleague’s leave of absence. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to provide leadership within a dynamic Thompson Hotels environment while contributing to the guest experience, team development, and operational success of the department.

What You Will Do

Assist with the daily management and operation of the Front Office department, lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to exceptional guest service standards, conduct daily shift briefings, and collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience within Front Office, Guest Services, or Rooms Operations
• Previous experience in an upscale, lifestyle, boutique, or full-service hotel environment
• Previous experience with Hyatt hotel systems
• Experience with OPERA PMS
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop colleagues while maintaining high service standards
• Ability to quickly adapt to a new hotel environment, systems, procedures, and team culture
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English fluently
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
