Role OverviewThe Ohio Casino Control Commission is a bipartisan regulatory body that oversees the casino gaming industry in Ohio. The Assistant General Counsel will provide general legal advice, draft administrative rules, and conduct legal research on complex issues.
What You Will Do
Provide general legal advice, draft and implement administrative rules, conduct legal research, review and respond to public record requests, and support the Attorney General's Office in administrative hearings and appeals.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 12 months of experience as a licensed attorney and 6 months of experience in employee training and development. The role requires strong research and writing skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
Requirements
- Admission to Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4705.01 of Revised Code
- 12 mos. exp. as licensed attorney
- 6 mos. exp. in employee training & development
