Job Description
The Assistant General Counsel will assist the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in providing legal advice and performing assigned legal work on behalf of the General Counsel's Office. Responsibilities include drafting contract documents, commenting on legislation and policy initiatives, and assisting with agency compliance with various laws and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar
  • Six months of satisfactory service as an Agency Attorney Interne (30086)
  • Membership in the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of employment
