Job Description
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) serves as the independent executive lead for SEPTA's Office of Inspector General (OIG), responsible for directive audits and investigations to promote transparency, efficiency, and accountability within SEPTA.

Requirements

  • Conducts independent appraisals of financial and operational programs
  • Verifies that resources are used for authorized purposes and that SEPTA complies with state, local, and federal regulations
  • Ensures all audit activities follow Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)
  • Directs investigations into fraud, bribery, theft, workplace violence, and employee/vendor misconduct
  • Manages a team that includes sworn detectives and attorney investigators
