Role OverviewThe Assistant General Manager will supervise and manage hotel departments, oversee hotel operations, and ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality are provided to hotel guests. The role involves assisting the General Manager in preparation of forecasts and reports, developing and implementing the budget, and resolving customer complaints.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager include interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates, overseeing hotel departments, and ensuring internal audit standards are met. The role also involves interacting with the sales staff to discuss and implement sales strategies, monitoring and maintaining front office systems and equipment, and creating action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
