Role OverviewThe position is responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. The coach will work with the Athletics Director and Building Principal or Principal Designee to ensure the conduct of the team and the philosophy and teachings of the entire athletic program. The coach will also be responsible for supervising the use, issuance, return, cleaning, inventory, and storage of equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
What You Will Do
The coach will adhere to the NFHS Coaches Code of Ethics, model nondiscriminatory practices, and establish positive relationships with coaches, athletes, parents, and community members. The coach will also attend meetings called by the Athletic Director or Building Principal, prepare and submit a schedule of scrimmages and non-league contests, and follow established procedures set by the District and Medical staff in the event of an athlete's injury.

Requirements
- Some experience in organized basketball at the club, select, modified, junior varsity, varsity or college level
