Role OverviewThe Assistant Head Facility Supervisor will perform semi-skilled work, under the direction of the head facilities serviceperson, in the supervision and participation of the cleaning program to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, appearance, and safe condition of the facilities.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include reviewing work performed by Facilities Serviceperson, instructing subordinate personnel, performing duties of Facilities Serviceperson, and activating, monitoring, and adjusting boilers and air conditioning equipment.

Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program
- Three (3) years of industrial, commercial, or educational facility experience
- Ability to follow standard custodial practices
- Ability to act as Head Custodian in their absence
- Ability to plan and direct the work of others
- Considerable Knowledge of all cleaning materials, preparation, and proper use of all cleaning equipment
- Ability to understand and practice energy conservation
- Ability to physically climb and work from ladders
- Ability to assume responsibility and follow both written and oral instructions
- Ability to operate heavy duty floor scrubbing and rug shampooing equipment
