Job Description
The Assistant in Training (AIT) position is responsible for fulfilling Buckle's mission statement by creating an enjoyable shopping experience for guests. Responsibilities include sales, merchandising, and operational tasks, as well as training and motivating teammates. The AIT will also share responsibility for training and motivating teammates and act as the store manager in their absence.

Requirements

  • Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service
  • Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on guest needs and desires
  • Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices
  • Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals set by store management
  • Provide legendary service throughout the store in top four areas: front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area
  • Fill out and effectively use the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) daily to accomplish goals
  • Meet or above performance standards in all Buckle business builders and guest loyalty including fit appointments, Buckle credit card, and guest connect
