Job Description
The Assistant in Training (AIT) role is responsible for fulfilling Buckle's mission statement by providing legendary service to guests, generating sales, and performing various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks. The AIT will work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new teammates, and provide leadership. The role involves sales generation and guest service, teammate recruiting, training, and development, visual merchandise management, and operations.

Requirements

  • Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude
  • Provide legendary service throughout the store
  • Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions
  • Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals
  • Lead by example with a high level of showmanship, excellent customer service, and attentiveness
  • Coach and create relationships through Guest Loyalty and Guest Preferred
  • Develop skills and assist in leading, directing, motivating, and educating new teammates
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times creating a positive floor culture
  • Execute daily interviews as needed to support Team Development and growth
