Job Description
The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager position is responsible for fulfilling Buckle's mission statement by providing legendary service to guests, generating sales, and performing various operational tasks. The role involves training and motivating teammates, managing visual merchandise, and executing store operations.

Requirements

  • Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude
  • Recommend and select merchandise based on guest needs and desires
  • Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions
  • Achieve personal sales and sales-per-hour goals
  • Provide legendary service throughout the store
  • Lead by example with a high level of showmanship and customer service
  • Recognize and communicate guest levels with the team
  • Develop skills and assist in leading, directing, motivating, and educating new teammates
  • Maintain a positive attitude and create a positive floor culture
  • Demonstrate personal dress code and coach the latest fashion in teammates and team leaders
  • Execute daily setup, training, and reviewing while effectively utilizing the Performance Tracker
  • Motivate teammates to initiate and complete daily tasks set by store management
  • Provide feedback to store manager and leadership team regarding merchandise handling concerns
  • Communicate policy violations and teammate or guest concerns to store manager, district manager, and/or human resources in a timely and confidential manner
