Assistant in Training

The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager position's primary responsibility is to fulfill Buckle's mission statement, 'to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.' AIT and Assistant Managers perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks assigned by store management, work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team, and develop sales, recruit new Teammates, and provide leadership.

What You Will Do

Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, recommend merchandise, anticipate and fulfill Guest's needs, demonstrate product knowledge, and maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs.
