Role OverviewThe Assistant in Training (AIT) role is responsible for fulfilling the mission statement of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for guests. The AIT will work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new teammates, and provide leadership. The role involves performing a variety of sales, merchandising, and operational tasks assigned by store management.
What You Will Do
The AIT will be responsible for greeting guests with a friendly attitude, recommending merchandise, and providing legendary service. They will also be responsible for maintaining and sharing knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices. Additionally, the AIT will be responsible for achieving personal sales goals, providing feedback to the Store Manager and Leadership Team, and executing daily tasks set by Store Management.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related retail experience and/or training
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
