Job Description
The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager position is responsible for fulfilling Buckle's mission statement, providing legendary service to guests, and performing various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks.

Requirements

  • Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude
  • Recommend and select merchandise based on guest needs
  • Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions
  • Achieve personal sales goals
  • Lead by example with a high level of showmanship and excellent customer service
  • Recognize and communicate guest levels with the team
  • Coach and develop skills in teammates
  • Maintain a positive attitude and create a positive floor culture
  • Demonstrate leadership actions and maintain high standards
  • Participate in daily setup, training, and reviewing
  • Motivate teammates to initiate and complete daily tasks
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability to give guidance and feedback to non-sales positions
  • Complete all scheduled shifts and cover shifts when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store
  • Provide feedback to store management and leadership team
  • Communicate policy violations and teammate or guest concerns
  • Understand and apply the Buckle Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks
