Job Description
The Assistant in Training (AIT) position is responsible for fulfilling the mission statement of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests. AITs perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks assigned by store management, including cashiering, merchandise display, and training teammates.

  • Plan sales goals with store manager
  • Demonstrate ownership of store's sales performance
  • Recruit and develop new teammates
  • Train and motivate teammates to meet sales standards
  • Execute and teach POS procedures
  • Maintain a positive attitude and maintain a clean store
  • Communicate policy violations and concerns to management
  • Understand and apply Buckle's Code of Ethics and policies
