Role OverviewThe Assistant Maintenance is responsible for assisting the maintenance supervisor, maintaining the physical integrity of the property, and working with the leasing team to maximize renewal and leasing opportunities. The role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Maintenance will complete service requests within 24 hours, implement and manage the system for handling resident service requests, and perform minor and routine maintenance on all equipment on a regular basis. The role also involves diagnosing and performing minor or routine maintenance or repair, maintaining accurate records, and participating in standby emergency schedules.

Requirements
- A minimum of two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA (refrigerant, transition, and recovery certification)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Own a basic set of hand tools
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance
