Job Description
The Collier Companies is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join their team in Gainesville, FL. The role involves troubleshooting, identifying problems, and providing solutions for maintenance-related issues in apartment housing. The ideal candidate will have experience as a maintenance technician, supervisory experience, and a working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, and HVAC.

Requirements

  • Experience as a maintenance technician for at least 1 year
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred (for management positions)
  • Apartment housing experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing & HVAC
  • Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented to complete work orders
  • Universal EPA certification required
  • Commitment to emergency-on-call rotation
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service
