Job Description
Role Overview

The Assistant Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the application, certification, and recertification processes. They assist the property manager by addressing the daily needs and issues of residents and are responsible for property operations in the absence of the property manager.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include processing applications, certifications, and recertifications, executing lease documents, collecting and posting resident rents and utilities, maintaining applicant waitlists and resident files, and collaborating with service coordinators to enhance resident quality of life.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of administrative/clerical office experience, and one year of apartment management experience. They must have basic math aptitude, knowledge of computer operations, and the ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with residents and employees.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with residents and employees
  • Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, state landlord/tenant rights and obligation
