Assistant Manager

Kay Jewelers is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join their team at the Creekside Town Center location in New Braunfels, TX. The role assists the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members' standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections. This position contributes to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and develops skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.

What You Will Do

Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit projections by focusing on individual and team standards. Contribute to total customer satisfaction, develop team members' skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruit and select team members. Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures and perform other operational and strategic duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends
