Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations

The Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for warehousing and distribution management in an HVAC Distribution Center (DC). The role involves executing a flawless DC operation, accomplishing warehouse human resource objectives, and meeting warehouse operational standards.

What You Will Do

The Assistant Manager will execute daily huddles, conduct performance evaluations, approve time sheets, schedule associates, lead continuous improvement, and maintain working knowledge of direct report responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a distribution environment
• 2+ years managing a team
• ERP/SAP experience required
• Strong customer service emphasis and distribution experience required
• Forklift certification/License required
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written
• Highly organized with a focus on meeting deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and other employees of the organization without assistance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
