Job Description
The Assistant Mechanical Engineer will support the Office of Building Water System Oversight's mission to prevent waterborne illness caused by poorly maintained or improperly managed systems in the built environment.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or mechatronics
  • 1 year of full-time satisfactory experience in mechanical engineering work
  • Ability to review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical documents
  • Ability to conduct field inspections and identify potential risks in engineered systems
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, scientists, and external stakeholders
