Role OverviewThe Assistant Milieu Supervisor acts as a backup to the Milieu Supervisor by planning and facilitating client enhancement activities and supports for the day to day lives of the clients. This position helps to lead the TA team in cohesive and trauma-informed delivery of milieu support to LOC residents and their children.
What You Will Do
Provide basic supervisory support and coaching on tasks to Treatment Assistants (TA) and Childcare. Conduct real time problem solving to address client needs and behavioral concerns. Provide direct supervisory support to weekend and evening staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must possess a current driver’s license, pass a DMV background check and be designated an “acceptable” driver as outlined in Central City Concern’s Fleet Safety Policy. Must pass an initial drivers training within 60 days of being an approved driver and continued recertification training.
Requirements
- High school education or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience working in behavioral health
- Current driver’s license
- DMV background check
- Approved by the State of Oregon Employment Department Child Care Division
- Working knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care
- Working knowledge of effects of substance use on individuals and family systems
- Working knowledge of best practices in parenting
- Adult and Child/Infant CPR Certification
- Adult and Pediatric First Aid Certification
