Role Overview

The Assistant Operations Manager - Front Office will oversee front office staff, cash control, staffing needs, and guest services. This role requires a strong attention to detail and effective communication with guests, departments, and team members.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include training, staff development, and scheduling. Additional duties may include dealing with guests, other departments, and team members.

Requirements

  • 1-2 year previous front office supervisory and/or management experience
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Union experience strongly preferred
