Job Description
The Assistant Operations Manager-Housekeeping is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning. This role requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies, and a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 1 year of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • Must possess high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Must be able to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
