Job Description
The Department of Art at Tyler School of Art and Architecture invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning Fall, 2026. The successful candidate will serve as Program Head of the Glass Program.

Requirements

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in glass across hot, cold, kiln, and flame working processes
  • Mentor BFA, MFA, and interdisciplinary graduate students
  • Maintain an active record of creative research, exhibitions, publications, and professional activity at the national and international levels
  • Serve as Program Head of the Glass Program
  • Contribute to the program's leadership in sustainability and environmentally responsible making practices
  • Participate in departmental, school, and university service
