Job Description
Become part of a luxury resort as an Assistant Pastry Chef, responsible for pastry/baking operations, food quality, and consistency. Monitor production, staffing, and training, and take charge in the absence of the Pastry Chef.

Requirements

  • In-depth skills and knowledge of all pastry/baking operations
  • Capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull a moderate amount of weight
  • Flexible scheduled needed to work various shifts including, but not limited to, mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
