Assistant Preschool Teacher

The Assistant Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, healthy, and educational learning environment for children and families. They will assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities, interact with children, and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include assisting in the day-to-day program schedule, interacting with children, monitoring the classroom, and maintaining children's files and reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• EEC Teacher qualified preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Knowledge of Early Childhood Development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Above average interpersonal skills
• Honesty, integrity, and operating as a team player
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• Ability to balance multiple assignments and adjust direction and priorities
• Report to scheduled shift consistently and on time
• Follow policies, procedures, and rules of the organization
• Maintain high program standards
