Role OverviewThe Assistant Principal serves as a key member of the school's leadership team and as the Principal's primary partner in supporting the day-to-day academic, operational, and student life functions of La Salle Academy. This individual will provide leadership in curriculum and instruction, faculty development, student discipline, school culture, daily operations, and student support services while helping ensure that every student is challenged academically, supported personally, and prepared to become a young man of faith, integrity, and leadership.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Principal will partner with the Principal to maintain a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement, support curriculum development, instructional innovation, and academic planning, conduct classroom observations and provide meaningful coaching and feedback to faculty, promote instructional best practices and support teacher professional growth, and collaborate with department chairs to strengthen curriculum alignment and student achievement.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field
- New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Certification
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching and/or school leadership experience
- Demonstrated success working with high school students and faculty
- Strong instructional leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting curriculum development, faculty supervision, student discipline, and school operations
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic and Lasallian education
