Role OverviewThe Assistant Program Director will work with the Program Director to ensure the quality and integrity of all activities at the GRCC Beacon 1 Program. This person will be responsible for integrating services and assuming overall leadership of the program in the absence of the Program Director. The Assistant Director will provide content expertise in working with Middle and High School age youth and maintain relationships with parents.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Program Director will support the Program Director in management of the program, including daily supervision and long-term planning. They will also supervise scheduling of activities and staff, design and manage program activities and special events, and lead opportunities for training and professional development for youth program staff.

They will have experience working with a multi-cultural youth population and expertise in working with Middle and High School age youth. Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish is preferred.
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a multi-cultural youth population
- 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a similar setting preferred
- Expertise and experience working with middle and high school age youth
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish preferred
