Job Description
LISC is seeking an Assistant Program Officer to support the development and communications efforts of LISC-NJ. The role involves managing fundraising campaigns, writing grant proposals, developing the communications strategy, and cultivating relationships with community partners. It's part of the organization’s mission to strengthen communities and address social determinants of health through grants and technical assistance.

Requirements

  • Assist Executive Director and Deputy Director in implementing LISC-NJ’s resource development strategy.
  • Manage program and administrative staff and consultants in prospecting, writing and submitting grant proposals.
  • Support the management of donor acknowledgements and communication with stakeholders.
  • Work with program staff and LISC Communications to draft content, schedule, and manage organizational social media presence.
  • Maintain and update the donor database and donor contact information.
  • Maintain donor communication records.
