Assistant Project Manager - Commercial HVAC

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers, field leadership, customers, vendors, and subcontractors to help keep commercial HVAC projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, or construction project coordination who wants to continue developing their project management skills and grow into a Project Manager role.

What You Will Do

The Assistant Project Manager will assist Project Managers with commercial HVAC projects from startup through completion and closeout, help coordinate project schedules, field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials, and communicate with general contractors, customers, vendors, subcontractors, field supervisors, and internal team members.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, general construction, or project coordination preferred.
• Previous Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or similar construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, mechanical drawings, and project specifications preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
