Role Overview

MWH is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the team in engineering, coordination, and construction of a large wastewater treatment plant project in Tampa, FL. The role will provide leadership and support to Trade Package Project Managers and Site Superintendents, and be accountable for supporting all aspects of delivery for civil, architectural, and structural work.

What You Will Do

The Assistant Project Manager will provide leadership and support to Trade Package Project Managers and Site Superintendents, and be responsible for procurement, change management, scheduling, shop drawings, RFIs, As-Built drawings, issues management, quality, and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, and 4+ years of experience in project engineering, site superintendent, or trade package management in heavy civil, structural, or buildings construction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in project engineering, site superintendent, or trade package management in heavy civil, structural, or buildings construction
  • Familiarity with preparing contract scoping documents, reading contract drawings and specifications, and basic construction principles and practices
